According to reports, the Huntley Fire Protection District (HFPD) was dispatched to a residential structure fire around 2:30 PM on June 21st within their second station's coverage area. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered significant fire involvement along the rear (Charlie) side of the home, with flames rapidly spreading to the second floor and attic. Despite the heat of the day, emergency responders were able to quickly extinguish the blaze.
