1. Why is a compressor rack better than a single compressor?
Compressor racks are safer, more energy-efficient, easier to maintain and install. Although they may cost slightly more upfront, they offer greater long-term efficiency and cost savings.
2. Which condenser type is better? Air cooled or water cooled?
If you have access to good-quality and sufficient water supply, a water-cooled condenser is preferable. Otherwise, an air-cooled condenser would be the better option.
3. How do compressors work on a compressor rack?
The compressors on the rack operate based on the load of the cold room. When the load is low, only one compressor runs. As the load increases, two or three compressors will activate accordingly.
4. If one compressor fails, will it affect others?
No, since each compressor operates independently, a failure in one will not impact the operation of the others.
5. What is the warranty for the refrigeration unit?
One-year warranty. With original new Bitzer/Copeland compressors, the lifespan is at least 8–10 years.
