The PGS lift-assist handle is an innovative addition designed specifically for the Legacy series and the T-series commercial grills. It features a comfortable grip that is conveniently positioned for users of various heights and abilities. As the lid opens, the grip stays within easy reach, keeping you safely away from the flames. This ergonomic design eliminates the need to stretch or strain while opening the lid, making it easier and safer to operate.

Even for those without physical limitations, this feature is undeniably convenient. After a long day, the simple act of turning a wrist to open the lid can make a noticeable difference. The PGS lift-assist handle is available in three models, each tailored to fit different grill lines within the Legacy series. LAHK27

The LAHK27 handle is designed for the Legacy Newport grills, including the S27 and S27R models. These compact 30-inch grills pack a punch with impressive performance. The S27 delivers 45,000 total BTUs from its pair of 304-grade stainless steel burners, making it ideal for both casual cooks and seasoned chefs. The S27R enhances this with an additional 12,000 BTU infrared rotisserie burner. With the LAHK27 attached, opening the lid becomes effortless, allowing you to focus on preparing mouthwatering dishes like steaks, chops, and chicken.

Not only does the LAHK27 fit the S27 and S27R, but it also works with the S27T commercial grill. Popular among condo and apartment managers, the S27T is a robust grill designed for high-demand environments. It even features the PGS FuelStop one-hour gas flow timer, which automatically shuts off the gas if left unattended. Equipped with the LAHK27, this grill ensures that even heavy-duty cooking remains hassle-free.

The handle on all three of these 30-inch grills measures 29 5/8 inches, and the lift-assist handle extends 17 3/8 inches along the side of the lid. Whether you're hosting a small gathering or feeding a larger crowd, opening and closing the lid requires minimal effort.

LAHK36

Next up is the LAHK36, designed exclusively for the Legacy Pacifica grill series. This includes the 39-inch S36 and S36R models. These grills boast three commercial-grade stainless steel burners, offering versatility and power. Features like flare guard rock grates, side beverage holders, and a side burner make these grills a favorite among grill enthusiasts. And now, with the LAHK36, opening the lid is as easy as turning a wrist.

The S36 is the standard model, while the S36R adds an infrared rotisserie burner. Both models are available in propane and natural gas options, ensuring compatibility with your preferred fuel source. Regardless of the type of gas used, the LAHK36 ensures smooth operation of the lid over the three burners and the expansive 720 square inch cooking area.

Similar to the LAHK27 series, the LAHK36 also fits the commercial grill S36T. This grill is a staple in apartment and condo buildings due to its durability and energy-saving PGS one-hour gas shutoff timer. With the LAHK36 installed, there's no concern about the lid being too difficult to manage, making it a perfect choice for communal spaces.

The S36 series lid handle spans 38 5/8 inches, providing ample space to accommodate the larger lid compared to the 30-inch S27 grills. Despite this, the 17 3/8-inch lift handle keeps the process just as effortless.

LAHK48

A PGS 51-inch grill dominates with four burners and a massive 960 square inches of cooking surface, making its lid the largest and heaviest in the PGS lineup. However, with the LAHK48, this task becomes manageable for nearly everyone. The LAHK48 is crafted specifically for the PGS Legacy S48R, also known as the Big Sur. Boasting 102,000 BTU of cooking power, it’s the go-to grill for large gatherings. It effortlessly handles burgers, steaks, prime ribs, pork roasts, and even turkeys.

Opening the lid is never a concern when the Big Sur is equipped with the LAHK48 lift-assist handle. Even if you don't need all four burners lit, you still need to open the entire lid. The LAHK48 ensures this will never be an issue.

The LAHK48 also fits the S48R’s commercial counterpart, the S48T (90,000 BTU). Sharing the same four-burner capabilities, the S48T adds the timer that automatically turns off the gas after one hour. Combining power, durability, reliability, and an easy-to-operate lid, this grill meets the needs of any large-scale event.

Despite the lid handle measuring 46 5/8 inches, the 17 3/8-inch lift handle makes moving the lid up and down a breeze.
