I just got back from covering a pretty intense situation over in Hammond, Indiana. There was a fire at an abandoned building on Hohman Avenue—pretty chaotic stuff. I managed to snap some photos while I was there, and I thought you’d want to see what it looked like.

The firefighters did an incredible job getting things under control despite the smoke and heat. You can really see their efforts in these images. Here’s a sneak peek of what I captured:
