ASTM A178 Carbon Steel Tube
The ASTM A178 standard specifies the requirements for minimum wall thickness resistance-welded carbon steel and carbon-manganese steel tubes. These tubes are commonly used in applications such as boiler tubes, boiler flues, superheater flues, and safety ends. The steel grades covered by this standard include Grade A (low-carbon steel), Grade C (medium-carbon steel), and Grade D (carbon-manganese steel). During production, these tubes undergo heat treatment, cooling, and welding processes. Customers may request a crushing test upon their request.
