Grinding is a two-stage and two closed-circuit process. The final grinding grain size is less than 0.074mm73%. The grinding process is shown in the following figure:

The original design only recovers the sulfide ore and uses the priority flotation process. After the production, the ore oxidation rate is increased, and the separation process increases the recovery of lead oxide and zinc oxide . The plant has carried out many changes to the flotation process in the production practice. The flotation process was initially carried out in the order of lead sulfide-lead oxide-zinc sulfide-zinc oxide minerals, which is called the “lead-lead zinc” process, with the ore oxidation rate. Increasingly, the order of sulfide lead-zinc sulfide-lead oxide-zinc oxide is changed, which is also called the “oxygen after sulfur selection” process.
In the above two processes, before the flotation of zinc oxide, in order to eliminate the influence of slime, a pre-desilting operation was added. In order to further strengthen the recovery of low-grade lead oxide, in 1980, some of the floatable lead oxide and lead sulfide were floated together. In 1983, they were all changed to “sulfur and oxygen mixed” process. At the same time, mixed amines, sodium sulfide, sodium hexametaphosphate emulsion and phosphorus new reagent system to achieve the sorting without prior desliming zinc oxide advanced technology. Part of the "sulphur, oxygen mixed" selection process and technical conditions are shown in the following figure:

The concentrate is dewatered in two stages, the filtrate lead concentrate is 9%, and the zinc concentrate is 12%.
