The Elmhurst Fire Department, part of MABAS Division 12, has recently been added to the site. The images were submitted by Dennis McGuire, Jr., offering a fresh look at the department’s current and past fleet. Elmhurst recently updated its color scheme from its long-standing white with school bus yellow and green stripes to a more traditional white over red. They also transitioned from E-ONE to Pierce fire apparatus, marking a significant change in their fleet identity.
Currently, EMS units are staffed by contract personnel, while fire suppression units are operated by career firefighters. This division ensures that both emergency medical services and fire response are efficiently managed.

Before the recent changes, Elmhurst had a mix of American LaFrance, Pierce, Mack, and Darley engines. Their former aerials included two 100-foot rear-mount ladders from Pirsch.
