The Elmhurst Fire Department, part of MABAS Division 12, has recently been added to the site. The images were submitted by Dennis McGuire, Jr., offering a glimpse into the department’s recent transformation. Elmhurst has updated its color scheme from its long-standing white over school bus yellow with green striping to a more traditional white and red look. Additionally, they have transitioned from E-ONE to Pierce fire apparatus, marking a significant change in their fleet.
While the EMS units are staffed by contract personnel, the fire suppression units are manned by career firefighters, ensuring a dedicated and experienced team on the ground.

Before this update, Elmhurst had a variety of engines from brands like American LaFrance, Pierce, Mack, and Darley. Their previous aerials were both 100-foot rear-mount ladders from Pirsch.
