Garage fire in Wheeling, 3-17-15

Wheeling firefighters responded to a fully involved fire at a detached garage located at 697 S. Merle. A visible header was spotted as units were en route, and multiple 911 calls were received. The incident was upgraded to Code 4, prompting mutual aid and auto-aid from neighboring departments including Buffalo Grove, Prospect Heights, Long Grove, and Arlington Heights.
