India announces anti-dumping investigation against ceftriaxone in China

The Anti-Dumping Agency of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India recently announced the final decision on China's anti-dumping investigation against ceftriaxone in China. The final ruling proposed to impose anti-dumping duties on Chinese products: the respondent company Fujian Fukang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. 56.77 US dollars / kg, Suzhou Dongrui Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. 55.61 US dollars / kg, Hebei Zhongrun Pharmaceutical Company 55.76 US dollars / kg, Zhuhai federal pharmaceutical company 57.98 US dollars / kg, Livzon Pharmaceutical Company 55.64 US dollars / kg, other Chinese companies 77.35 US dollars / kg.
The final ruling calculates the normal value of Chinese products using the structural price method, and assumes that Chinese products constitute dumping. The dumping margins of the five responding companies range from 57.62% to 61.59%, and the unreported company is 103.45%. The final ruling said that during the period of investigation, the number of Chinese imports surged from 65 kilograms in fiscal year 2002-03 to 87,456 kilograms in the survey period, causing substantial damage to Indian domestic industries.
