Last week, ChargeLab announced our ability to migrate commercial Enel X Way devices to our OCPP back-end for EV charger management. Today, we're excited to share that dozens of Enel X Way chargers have successfully been moved to our network. As the EV charging software landscape continues to evolve, we want to provide more details on this process and clarify what it really takes to make these migrations work.
To give you a better understanding of what the migration looks like in practice, check out this video from ChargeLab CEO Zak Lefevre:
**Technical Challenges**
It's important to note that Enel X Way commercial EV chargers are not plug-and-play OCPP devices. They require a detailed reconfiguration process before they can be connected to a new charging station management system (CSMS). So far, ChargeLab is one of the few providers capable of completing these migrations efficiently—especially ahead of the October 11 deadline.
If you're speaking with another provider about migrating Enel X Way chargers, make sure they’ve actually done this recently and understand the complexities involved.
**ChargeLab’s Solution**
Thanks to the hard work of our engineering team, we've developed a reliable and efficient method to migrate Enel X Way chargers quickly. The process includes backend changes from our side, as well as on-site configuration steps that can be completed by a technician using a laptop or smartphone.
Here are some images from a recent migration at a condo building in Toronto:

For EV drivers, the experience will also change. You'll switch from the Enel X Way app to the ChargeLab web app, which supports iOS, Android, and even mobile browsers without needing to download any apps.

**Network Migration Progress** As of Monday, October 7, we’re currently migrating 612 Level 2 and DC fast chargers from Enel X Way’s commercial back-end. We expect to add thousands more this week. Our teams are working hard to accommodate more chargers, so if you're interested in moving your Enel X Way devices, reach out to us today. **Contact Us** For more information or to start the migration process, contact us at: 1 (800) 636-0986 ext. 210Rotary Vibration Sieve Shaker,Powder Screening Vibratory Shaker,Rotary Vibration Sifter
