Eddy current separators are primarily used for recycling copper, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals from industrial waste and solid waste. They are widely applied in environmental protection industries such as waste sorting, recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment, and treatment of non-ferrous metal industrial materials. These separators offer high efficiency in separating a wide range of non-ferrous metals, featuring strong adaptability, reliable mechanical structure, and efficient performance.
Working Principle:
The Eddy Current system consists of a short belt conveyor with its drive located at the return end. The ECS rotor, installed at the discharge end of the conveyor, is constructed using a high-intensity rare earth (neodymium iron-boron) magnet system and is enclosed within a non-metallic rotor cover. When the rotor spins at high speeds, it induces an electric current into conducting metals. This induced current generates a magnetic field that opposes the rotor's field, repelling non-ferrous metals over a splitter plate. The remaining materials free-fall over the rotor, effectively separating them from the repelled materials.
