Dust exhaust gas treatment wet dust collector introduction

Wet scrubber, also known as scrubber, is a widely used dust removal device. The dust removal principle is based on the use of a liquid (usually water) sprayed on a dust-containing gas stream, the droplets being attached to the dust, increasing the volume of the particles and thereby facilitating the separation of the particles' contaminants from the gas stream. Solid particles having a particle size of 0.1 to 20 μm can be efficiently separated by a wet duster.

Wet scrubbers have many advantages over other scrubbers. In the case of consuming the same amount of energy, the dust emission efficiency of the wet dust collector is higher than that of the dry dust collector. The wet dust collector is suitable for handling high-temperature, high-humidity gases and highly viscous dusts, when the gas stream containing the particles contains harmful substances. When the gas is used, the particulate matter and the harmful gas can be removed simultaneously with a wet dust collector. For example, the flue gas containing sulfur oxides is treated with an alkaline solution as a washing liquid to remove the particulate matter and absorb the sulfur oxides.

The disadvantage of wet scrubbers is that the discharge is treated with mud. No beryllium causes secondary pollution. When the gas being treated is corrosive, the corrosiveness of the gas is transferred from the gas phase to the liquid phase. Therefore, the sewage system must use anticorrosive materials. Protection is not suitable for water-repellent dust; when used in cold areas, care should be taken to prevent ice formation in winter, in order to have a high collection efficiency for fine particles; the liquid phase needs to be well dispersed, and therefore it consumes high power.

Wet dust collectors are simple in structure, low in equipment cost, and widely used in a small area. Therefore, there are a wide variety of wet dust collectors. Commonly used wet scrubbers include: spray chambers or spray towers; swirl scrubbers or centrifugal scrubbers; nozzle scrubbers or jet scrubbers; impact plate and packed bed scrubbers, venturi scrubbers, and foam scrubbers, among others . There are three commonly used wet scrubbers: spray chamber scrubbers, swirl scrubbers, and venturi scrubbers.
