The former Evergreen Park Fire Department ladder truck has found a new home with the Barre Fire Department.

This iconic ladder truck, once known as Truck 44 with the Evergreen Park Fire Department, has now been reclassified as Ladder 1 under Barre FD. It’s always exciting to see fire apparatus move between departments, and this one brings a sense of history and continuity to the local fire service.
Barre FD (MA) Ladder 1 is former Evergreen Park FD Truck 44.
The truck has already made an impression, and it's clear that the Barre community is excited about the new addition. Whether it's for rescue operations, high-rise fires, or special incidents, this ladder truck will play a vital role in keeping the area safe.
