New engine for Dekalb

NEW DELIVERY
The DeKalb Fire Department in Illinois recently welcomed their very first Rosenbauer Group twin-engine fire apparatus! This marks a major milestone for the department, as it's the first of two new units they've ordered. A big thank you to Chief Mike Thomas, the dedicated firefighters, and the City of DeKalb for choosing Sentinel Emergency Solutions and Rosenbauer for this important upgrade!
Engine Features Include:
  • Rosenbauer EXT Crossfire aluminum body with a lifetime transferrable warranty
  • Rosenbauer Commander Chassis
  • 750 gallons of water capacity
  • 1500-GPM pump system
  • Rosenbauer CleanAir Filtration System for cleaner emissions

This is one of two units they have on order. The second one is expected to arrive around November. Both were demo models that were built and purchased by DeKalb for a faster delivery.
