Introduction:
Waste oil is commonly collected from machinery, vehicles, and ships, often appearing black and very dirty. This waste oil contains various impurities such as non-hydrocarbons, alkenes, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, metal hydronium, and other contaminants. These impurities can be harmful to the lubrication system and engine, making it necessary to replace the oil.
Traditional methods of recycling waste oil involve using acid, which produces a lot of sludge, bad odors, and is not environmentally friendly. Additionally, the base oil produced through this method is not pure and tends to oxidize quickly. Many countries have banned this method.
Our company has developed a new vacuum distillation machine for waste oil (JZC waste oil distillation machine), specifically designed for distilling and regenerating black waste lube oil, including used engine oil, lube oil, hydraulic oil, gear oil, dirty diesel oil, and mixed oils. This equipment uses a physicochemical process to polymerize, passivate, absorb, and eliminate impurities and harmful contaminants.
The JZC waste oil distillation machine heats the waste oil under high vacuum conditions, ranging from 110°C to 350°C, allowing hydrocarbon molecules to break down and recombine into diesel oil and lubricating base oil. This machine is ideal for small oil refining companies or those looking to produce oil independently.

Advantages:
1. There are optional heating methods, such as using fuel, natural gas, or coal via a boiler. For smaller machines, electric heating is also an option.
2. Using high vacuum distillation reduces the distillation temperature, saving energy and ensuring safety.
3. Special chemicals are used to catalyze the waste oil, ensuring that the final diesel oil, gasoline, and base oil have good anti-oxidation properties and a pleasant color without any bad odor. The final oil can be stored for at least one year without changing color or smell.
4. The oil cooler system uses SS304, providing efficient heat exchange and a long service life.
5. Environmentally friendly, with only 5-8% oil residue in the distillation kettle, which can be used as boiler fuel, thus no pollution occurs.
6. The final oil is of high purity, with gasoline/diesel oil and lube base oil stored in different tanks.
7. The machine has a design life of 10 years, offering a long working lifespan.
8. Easy to operate, requiring only 1 or 2 workers to run the machine.

2.How to deal with the residue?

The final residue is semi-solid and can be processed for asphalt production, briquettes for burning, or blended with oil to make off-spec heavy fuel oil or greases for slow-moving machinery.

 

3.Why we need to add the catalyst?

Catalysts help stabilize the recycled oil, preventing oxidation and color change back to black. Therefore, the recycled oil from our machine remains yellow for at least half a year or even a full year.

 

4.Why the machine needs to work under vacuum condition?

The machine operates under negative pressure, where the boiling point of used oil is lower under high vacuum conditions. Without a vacuum unit, the oil could crack when the temperature reaches 420-450 degrees Celsius (and it would turn into diesel at 450 degrees Celsius).
