Recently, Porsche (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the AQSIQ. From February 20, 2017, a number of imported 2017 718 Boxster cars will be recalled, with production dates from September 28, 2016 to October 4, 2016. Due to the manufacturer's manufacturing reasons, some of the vehicles in the scope of this recall have a poor chemical distribution ratio in the primary gas generator of the side airbag of the driver's seat. Porsche (China) Auto Sales Co., Ltd. will replace the side airbag module of the driver's seat for free for vehicles within the recall range to eliminate defects.
It has been verified that all vehicles involved in the Chinese market have not been delivered to the user, and Porsche (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. will ensure that relevant replacement measures are completed before the vehicle is delivered.
