4. Adjusting the dispersion of the slime and agglomerating fine minerals often cause different mineral particles to agglomerate unselectively, destroying the selectivity of flotation, reducing the quality of the concentrate, and allowing the useful minerals to be wrapped in the flocs to be easily lost to the tailings. . Floats are commonly used for agglomeration and dispersion of lime, starch, sulfuric acid, and the like.
