Since the start of this year, Jiaozuo City in Henan Province has made a significant investment of 2.4 billion yuan into a new batch of automotive parts production projects. Leveraging well-known domestic companies such as Aeolus Co., Ltd., Zhongyuan Interior Fitting Co., Ltd., Zhongyuan Axle Co., Ltd., Jiaozuo Brake Group, and Henan Tianyang Aluminum Alloy Wheel Co., Ltd., the city has launched multiple large-scale manufacturing initiatives. These include the installation of 1.2 million sets of radial tires, 15 million sets of engineering tires, 20,000 high-grade bus axles, 10 million injection-type cylinder liners, 3 million aluminum alloy wheels, 35,000 tons of precision castings, 100,000 anti-lock braking electronic control systems (ABS), and blind-spot monitoring mirrors.
The total investment in these projects has reached an impressive 2.4 billion yuan. Looking ahead to 2007, Jiaozuo City is expected to produce 4.5 million tire units, 3 million aluminum alloy wheels, 20,000 ABS braking systems, and 20,000 high-end passenger car axles. The automotive parts sector is projected to generate sales revenue of 18.1 billion yuan and contribute 4.3 billion yuan in profits and taxes.
This development highlights Jiaozuo's growing role in China's automotive supply chain, with a strong focus on innovation and efficiency. As the city continues to attract major industry players, it is positioning itself as a key player in the national auto parts market. With ongoing investments and expanding production capacities, Jiaozuo is well on its way to becoming a major hub for automotive manufacturing in northern China.
