According to foreign reports, Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., Ltd. announced that after the company’s board election, Paul Fitzhenry was elected vice president of Goodyear Global Communications, effective from October 8, 2012.
Fitzhenry, 53, has served in a number of global leading companies and has 25 years of working experience in key communications positions. He was appointed vice president of corporate communications in 2007 by Tyco International.
Fitzhenry will report to Goodyear's Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, Richard J. Kramer, and lead Goodyear's global communications business to assist the company in fulfilling its business objectives and implementing its global strategy. In addition, Fitzhenry will also supervise Goodyear's airship business.
Kramer said: "Fitzhenry's rich experience and recognized strengths in the global communications industry will become a valuable asset for Goodyear. We look forward to the company's global communications business under his leadership and will help the company better execute its overall strategy. â€
