The reporter learned from the informed sources that Wuxi Bosch Automotive Diesel System Co., Ltd. According to relevant sources from Deutz FAW Dachai, the price of the common rail system for small engines was mainly reduced, including light trucks and agricultural engines. This was because Bosch changed the supply system of the common rail system from the original distribution pump to an in-line pump. It was 500 to 600 yuan cheaper. “The current electronically controlled common rail system for heavy- and medium- and heavy-duty engines has no price cuts. Localization is the main reason

In Bosch's view, the reason for the price reduction is not the simplification of the structure. The reason given by Wang Xiaodong is that "the realization of localization, price reduction is an inevitable trend."

An R&D staff from Wuxi Bosch told reporters that whether it is external competition or the increase of localization rate, price cuts are inevitable. According to him, currently high-pressure oil pumps, ECUs, fuel injectors, and other components of electronically controlled common-rail systems are being gradually domesticated. These are the main components that affect the price level. "By the end of this year, the localization of these components will be completed." . The small accessories such as the controller on the oil pump still rely on imports. Therefore, with the localization of key components, the cost of electronically controlled common-rail systems will be reduced, and prices will also fall.

However, for a set of electronically controlled common-rail systems up to tens of thousands of yuan, the range of several hundred yuan to 1,000 yuan is very small. “Although it has been localized, it can only be produced in small batches, and it cannot be supplied in large quantities,” said the researcher.

It was rumored that after CNPC launched the in-line pump and EGR engine, many vehicle companies put pressure on engine companies such as Weichai and demanded that they reduce their prices for the high-pressure common-rail country III engines. Otherwise, it is difficult for the prices of these companies' products to rise. It competes with CNHTC's National III products, and it is Bosch's electronically controlled common rail system that is widely used by Weichai. Secondly, since the implementation of State III, the phenomenon that electronically controlled common-rail systems were monopolized by foreign companies and then demanded high prices has been criticized by the industry, and engine companies have also complained quite a lot; again, Bosch and Nippon Denso have served as domestic high pressure common rail systems. The main supplier, the current capacity of the two sides can hardly meet domestic demand.
