From the Thailand Investment Opportunities Symposium held recently, Thailand hopes that Chinese companies will increase their investment in Thailand and particularly hope that Chinese companies will invest in Thailand in rubber production, auto parts , machinery, electronics, green industry and alternative energy industries.
According to reports, Thailand is the world's largest rubber producer, and only about 10% of rubber raw materials are used in domestic production, and the rest are exported as raw materials. Thailand's rubber exports totaled 397.07 billion baht in 2011, and China is Thailand's largest exporter with a total export value of THB 153.27 billion.
